Festival of Peace

FESTIVAL DATES

March 19-23, 2020 /

Welcome to Rome

Experience a festive welcoming when you bring your ensemble to the Festival of Peace.  You will be greeted to this historic region of Italy by local musicians, city authorities, and host organization officials. The Festival of Peace concerts take place in breathtaking venues throughout Rome and the areas surrounding the southeast of Rome.

This southeast corner is the Castelli Romani region, which translates into English as the Roman Castles. The Castelli Romani region was and is today, a summer refuge for noble Romans. Green hills, gorgeous crater-formed lakes, and beautiful architecture are only a few of the sensory delights you’ll experience here.

Sing together with local Italian choirs as well as choirs from around the world. During four exciting days of choral music and cultural exchange, the Festival of Peace facilitates a deeper sense of respect and understanding between cultures through the common language of music.

“In this historical moment, so scarred by wars and hatred, small gestures are seeds of peace and brotherhood.”

-Pope Francis
