Getting the Word Out
We will help you promote your tour to group members and your community. We understand the commitment and effort it takes to assemble a group of travelers and gain community support. Detailed below are some of the ways Music Contact International will assist in facilitating this process.
Allow us to personally present your tour to your group. We will travel to your community and speak in detail with your group and prospective travelers about the tour and destination. We will provide attendees with informative handouts, visuals, and maps. We will explain the registration process, clarify how flights are secured, and review deadlines. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Participants will come away from our presentations feeling confident, informed and excited about their trip.
Brochures, DVDs, posters, and other informational materials about the countries you will be visiting can help build enthusiasm among your group members for their upcoming tour. We will supply you with materials specific to your tour destination. In addition, we can provide multiple copies of tour posters and itineraries to generate interest and help promote the tour.
Travelers Resource Site
Once your group is registered to travel, you, the group leader, will receive a link to your customized Traveler’s Resource website. When you share the link with prospective travelers, they can access details about the trip and destination, as well as register and make trip payments.
This is your group’s online resource for you to use in tour preparation. The site is customized exclusively for your group and is full of exciting and interactive features that you will find informative and helpful before, during, and after the tour.
Here are some of the benefits and features that your group will enjoy with the Traveler’s Resource site:
• Current tour itinerary with full descriptions of each day
• Detailed maps of the places you will visit
• Blog platform to communicate with group members during the planning process and to share experiences with friends and family back home while on tour
• Recommended books, movies, websites, and videos about the destinations you will visit
• Online tour payment system allowing for easy credit card payments (optional)
The Traveler’s Resource website makes the months leading up to your group’s departure almost as fun as the trip itself!
